Bija mantas are sounds which have
certain esoteric powers. Usually these powers are
associated with activating a centre within the subtle
body or in building the capacity to hold a charge for a
spiritual principle. For instance "SHRIM" is the seed
(bija) sound for Lakshki. Repetition of the sound
"SHRIM" will produce the ability to attract and hold
